Dr. Michael J. Smith
Louisiana State Univ., 1980, DVM

After graduating from the Univ. of Arkansas with a B.S. in Animal Nutrition and veterinary school at LSU, Dr. Smith moved to California in 1980.  Dr. Smith began his practice at Country Hills Animal Clinic in 1985, serving the veterinary community as past president of SCVMA and officer of the Animal Health Foundation. Married with two daughters, Dr. Smith enjoys spending his free time hiking, making bamboo fishing rods and playing with his chocolate lab, Java. 

 Dr. Jennifer Cassidy
Univ. of  California, Davis, 2004, DVM

Dr. Jennifer Cassidy joined our team at Country Hills Animal Clinic in 2005. A native of California and a graduate of UC at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, Jennifer spent her internship at Advanced Veterinary Care Center with Dr. Michael Lesser in Inglewood. At home she cares for three cats and one Schipperke-mix dog.         

Dr. Erin S. Lane
Texas A&M Univ. 1997, DVM

Dr. Erin S. Lane is a 1997 graduate of Texas A&M University. She has worked in large and small animal practices in Oregon, the Central Valley and Sonoma County. In 2003, Dr. Lane was selected for a fellowship in clinical nutrition at UC Davis. In her spare time, Dr. Lane likes to hike, hang out with her famlly and ride her horse.
